Amber’s Singing a Happy Song

Ladies..ladies!  Stop the exercise music and listen.                                                  Good news, Amber’s blood tests came back and she is doing well.  Her arthritis is getting bad so she now has pain meds like Angel Kali had for the really bad days.  Our purring worked.  We must keep the purring going to get her back to the vivacious lady she was but she’s here with us again.

Baby, The Snow Must Fall

C’mon lets’ play in the snow.  Madi:  Are you kidding….it’s wet.  Well, snow is wet.  Madi:  Sure takes away from the fun.  Let’s make a snowman.  Madi:  He’s gotta be different though….none of this man with hat bit for us.

We did an awesome job, Madi. This is one fantastic snowman.  Madi:  Well, if you ask me, Kali, this guy could use some pants.  He’s nekked!  Nobody’s going to notice Madi.  They’ll be overcome with our magnificent artwork.

I see Binky and Amber padding over this way.  They don’t look happy.  The snows deep as donkey dung on the farm. Pretty deep!

Binky: Can you manage Amber? All we can see is your head. Amber: Geez, a little snow would’ve been nice but this is ridiculous. It’s like wadding in quicksand….

This is the clean and exhilarating Canadian weather.

The snow makes my whiskers feel alive. Ali:  You mean half frozen. mol

Binky:  I like the snow guy.  You and Madi made it? Pretty fancy girls.  Rather risqué, wouldn’t you say?  What do you mean, Binky?  He’s nekked, Kali.  Madi:  See, I told you Kali…they noticed real fast!

Oh for mouse’s sake, it’s not like we drew in his private parts.

We’ll go inside for some nipnog to warm up and a few of those rat cakes from the Pied Piper Bakery down the street.

Let’s mellow out and watch Nine Lives….it’s a mew a minute.

A Round of Apaws for Our Newest Members

We have two new members that just turned 15.

Binga:  Who are these new ones?  Hope they’re down to earth.  We don’t need any uppity, sniffling wiener heads.

Kali:  Are you calling me a wiener head, Binga?

Binga: Not you Kali,  you are, well, YOU.  A little spinny at times but that’s what makes you loveable.

Kali:  Ya, I can be spinny but like you said that’s me.  These ladies are not spinny….well, maybe at home or in their gardens.  They are our type of gals.  They speak their minds and we can’t ask for more than an honest _itch.

The first Cougar we welcome is Binky.  Binky has done so much to help her Granny around the house.  Right now, Binky is assisting to excavate the backyard and make the shrine for her friend an even more beautiful place than it was.  Binky is from Holland and her blog is Me and My Granny.

The second inductee is Amber.  She also turned 15 over the last few weeks.  Amber is a senior in Basil’s Blog.  In fact, mom and dad visited with Amber and the raucous horde from Basil’s Blog when they were in England.  What, oh, I see.  Mom says when they arrived at Basil’s house, Amber ran into the bedroom.  I know she was checking to make sure everything was clean and tidy.  Although mom and dad had no intention of going into the bedroom.  Mom had a great feeling about all the members of Basil’s Blog.

Let’s welcome the new members by joining in and hollering our motto.  “PROUD TO BE CROTCHETY!”  Let your fur down ladies and just be.

Lily Olivia:  I’ll take a look into the pantry and see what we can celebrate with.

Ali: Looky, a fine Cougar Cuisine is waiting for us. MOL

Sarabi: Yummy! How many green beans can you shove up your nose, Binky? My personal best is 2 and 1/2 but the ends hang out and I look like a walrus with fur….MOL
